Our Innovations: MicroDens and GSA
MicroDens - Portable Digital Densimeter
The MicroDens represents the latest generation of portable digital densimeters, developed by Gibertini Elettronica specifically for the industrial environment. This precision instrument combines advanced MEMS technology with a robust and elegant design, offering professional analytical performance in a compact format.
Technical specifications include a density range of 0-3 g/cm³ with accuracy of ±0.0001 g/cm³ and repeatability of 0.00005 g/cm³. The silicon MEMS sensor with omega-shaped channel operates in electrostatic excitation in vacuum environment, guaranteeing extremely precise measurements even with minimum samples of 1.5 ml.
The system integrates automatic temperature compensation through platinum sensor, with accuracy of ±0.2°C in the range 0-40°C. The 2.8" color TFT touchscreen display, combined with physical buttons for precise control even with gloves, ensures an intuitive and professional user interface.
The instrument supports 30 measurement methods (10 predefined + 20 customizable) with three operating modes: Precise (stability ±0.0001 g/cm³), Rapid (±0.0005 g/cm³) and Manual for user control.
Industrial applications include AdBlue automotive quality control (urea concentration 31.8%-33.2%), fuel analysis with automatic API Gravity correlations, alcoholic beverage monitoring with TAV determination, and chemical industry for concentration control of H₂SO₄, HCl, HNO₃, NaOH, H₂O₂ and saline solutions.
In the food sector, MicroDens analyzes confectionery syrups with °Brix and HFCS measurements, while in the dairy industry it allows rapid detection of adulterations. The measuring cell in MEMS silicon, stainless steel and Pyrex glass, with PTFE tubing, guarantees chemical compatibility and operational durability.
GSA - Automatic Granulometric Analysis
The GSA continues to represent excellence in automatic granulometric analysis, compliant with ASTM D6913, D7928 and UNI CEN ISO/TS 17892-4 standards. It uses the advanced sedimentation principle to determine with exceptional precision the dimensional distribution of particles.
