Gibertini Elettronica has adopted excellence of quality as a goal for its organisation and since 1992 this aim has become a reality with the achievement of ISO 9002 Certification.

All the staff are engaged in a continuous effort to improve the instruments, whilst mantaining the simplicity and safety of their use.

To reach these quality goals, Gibertini Elettronica has adopted the following policies:

  • awareness of all International Regulations
  • reaching quality levels with minimum cost and in due time
  • prevention of production delays
  • continuous training and updating of all staff
  • continuous product improvement

These policies clearly define the goals for all the staff as being “only the best is acceptable since good quality of all products is the first investment for marketing”.

The second generation of the family, who are now part of the staff, are dedicated to improving the company and taking it into the next millenium, whilst preserving all the excellent achievements made by the founder.

The policy of this second generation is to manage these changes by working together professionally and by integrating these changes within the whole company.

“The customer would like to be informed by a professional and not by a general seller”: hence the reason for continuous training and keeping all of the staff up to date.
It is for this reason that “customer satisfaction” is of prime importance to our company.

To confirm this introduction on “quality”, we confirm for you the national and international regulations we currently refer to:

  • EEC Directive 2006/95 – Low Voltage
  • EEC Directive 2004/108 – Electromagnetic compatibility
  • EEC Directive 2009/23 – Non-automatic weighing instruments
  • EEC Directive ATEX 94/9 – Electrical apparatus for explosive gas atmospheres
  • EEC Regulation 606/2009 – European analysis methods for wine
  • EEC Regulation n. 2870/2000 – European analysis methods for wine
  • EEC Regulation 594/91 – on substances that deplete the ozone layer

Gisberto Gibertini, graduated in general chemistry in Modena, after a few decades spent in the customs’ chemical laboratories, found himself with a fancy for precision engineering, and especially for analytical balances.

Remembering the hard and laborious times to determine the density with Westphal balances, he develops the application of a floater calibrated in mass and volume thus creating the first hydrostatic balance which has become the symbol of the present “Gibertini Elettronica” making it famous (the world over).

In 1950 is born the father’s artisan business with his four children all engaged in buildind not only balances but also, physically, the house and the laboratory destroyed by the war. After ten years an industrial configuration started to develop, with the hiring of collaborators, with theincrement of the instruments range, the organization of a commercial network, at a regional level first, then national, and finally world-wide.

As years go by production of laboratory instruments grows (especially in the chemical, pharmaceutical and food areas) and now goes from balances to pH-meters to thermostatic baths; already from several years the company boasts a world-wide leadership in the field of oenological instruments and for paints dosage.
It produces moreover, whit its own technology, machanical and electronic equipment for other companies, which are assembled and sold under their own brand.
